At the mouth of the Mushamush River, fresh water meets salt. The system is productive not only because of what mixes, but because of what it won’t absorb.

Dredge too deep, shift the salinity, overdevelop the shoreline—it collapses. Constraints protect what thrives there.

Small batches. By appointment. Ten scents, no more. 

Not scarcity—structure.

Productivity isn’t expansion. It’s care for the conditions that keep the system generative.
